7 June, 1993

Ron’s Industrial Accident

Ron was in a life threatening industrial accident that left him paralyzed with a C-6 C-7 incomplete injury.

Ron Leaves the Hospital

After six months, Ron was able to leave the hospital but then encountered a problem. He could not wash himself properly and was left feeling unhygienic and dirty.

December, 1993
1995

Just Watch Me

Ron finally gets access to proper hygiene in his new custom-built fully accessible home.

From Electrician to Inventor

Ron begins working in his garage on inventions to solve problems for people with disabilities 

1998
2017

TechTown and Wayne State

Ron settles on his most important idea for WAT showers, and brings the idea to TechTown Detroit

Research and Development Begins

Appearance models of the WAT shower are designed.

2019

Research and Development Amps Up

Proof of Concept Prototypes are built

Funding initiative amp up

Alpha prototypes are requested.
