WAT showers will fit in almost any room in a home or apartment, and will never leak, so WAT can be used in all sorts of living situations The components are lightweight, modular, and robustly engineered. The plastic base has a reservoir and pump system with sensors that prevent potential burns, and give temperature read-outs for users. The shower takes in water through a hose that attaches easily to any sink faucet. A durable pump moves wastewater from the reservoir through a flexible tube into any sink or drain up to 80 feet away.
The WAT shower base is less than 2 inches hight, and entered by a small no-slip ADA standard ramp with grab bars on either side. It is large enough for any shower chair or a reclining toileting chair, or for caregivers to enter the shower if needed. We have several grab bar configurations to support shower users and caregivers. There is easy access through curtains and walls for caregivers to reach inside the shower, and various handheld shower-heads that permit the user to shower privately or with assistance.
We’re aiming to redefine fair market value for this type of product. The roll-in shower can be purchased or leased for shorter term uses, as it is easily taken apart and portable so that users can meet their hygiene needs on a consistent basis, even when undergoing short term rehabilitation or temporary care scenarios. The partnerships that have designed the WAT shower have allowed us to make a product at a much lower price point than the competition, and we are working to make this shower something that anyone can access and afford.
